Christopher Riley is a screenwriter, director and author with a career stretching from his groundbreaking 1999 film After The Truth, a multiple-award-winning German-language courtroom thriller, through screenwriting assignments for Disney’s Touchstone Pictures, Sean Connery’s Fountainbridge Films, Paramount Pictures, Mandalay Television Pictures and the Fox television network, to his directorial debut on the award-winning 2022 short film No Time Off for Good Behavior and his feature directing debut, the 2024 revenge comedy No Reception. He is the author of the classic screenwriting reference The Hollywood Standard and The Defining Moment: How Writers and Actors Build Characters. He has taught screenwriting at the graduate and undergraduate levels for more than 20 years.

Tara J. Stone started writing fiction when she was in first grade and discovered the thrill of screenwriting as a Communications Media student at John Paul the Great Catholic University. She earned her first screenwriting credit on a widely publicized web series when she was only a sophomore at college. The feature film she wrote as a college senior was produced in 2011 and received DVD and video-on-demand distribution deals in 2013. In 2020, she used the storytelling skills she honed as a screenwriter to begin crafting page-turning novels. Her 2024 release 680 Miles Away won multiple book awards. Tara resides in Colorado, and in 2016, she became a Consecrated Virgin Living in the World in the Diocese of Colorado Springs. In addition to making things up and writing them down, Tara enjoys praying, hiking (definitely not running), going to the symphony (especially movies at the symphony), discovering new craft brews, and spending time with family and friends.
